"This place is great! The workers were very friendly and bring your food to your table so you can just sit while you wait! The mac was excellent and the portions were very filling. It was pretty expensive but what else is new"
"And the crowd goes… mild! I was incredibly excited for a fast casual Mac and cheese (and more) place. The space is super polished and clean inside and when I entered, no one was inside and ordering. I was able to get out my full order before the person on register told me to order at the far end which definitely wasn’t intuitive (maybe add signs or arrows on the ground?) I ordered the BYO Mac bowl and the steps on the menu don’t match the questions being asked so the poor person helping me was hopping back and forth on the line. I wish the choices were written on the glass, it was a little hard to read. And that was a bit tricky because the toppings were kinda weird. I was expecting caramelized onions, maybe peas/broccoli/avocado, crunchy bread crumbs, yummy proteins, different cheese sauces, etc. but the options were all not really super compatible for a build your own. Who is ordering with carrots, celery, pepperoni, or a quinoa base? I ordered a Mac with cheese sauce, white cheddar, pulled pork, roasted red pepper, and onion and received a room temp-cool bowl of a pretty flavorless Mac with a glob of pork in the center. Think chain restaurant kids meal quality but cold. Service seemed disinterested at best which was wild because I was the only one there. I could understand if it was packed but they didn’t seem to have a flow down (understandable, they are new) or have any sense of customer service. The price would be right for a more flavorful Mac but for what we got, you are definitely better off buying a box of Annie’s Mac and cheese and making it at home. At least then it will be warm. I hope this business is just finding its feet and finds its groove in a couple months but it seems like they’ve already started opening more locations with the same formula. I’d urge the business to get the team into a customer service mindset with a quick script for helping folks get their bowls (highly recommend you have little forms where people can check off what they want), re-examine what is in the BYO bar, and figure out a way to serve hot and well mixed Mac!"
"Don't get me wrong I enjoy a good new place to eat... But seeing how it's made?? I can do it at home for way less... Service counter folks were chatty even told a customer ahead to wait while she gossips... The food was eh... Cool not hot hot... It's in a air fryer deal and a conveyor belt oven like at a gas station... Menu was super hard to see and why are we paying at the order counter and there's a register at the end by the pick up? Redundant... I don't recommend... Sorry but it just seems silly to have this when a bag of tots is 3 dollars or pasta is 2 bucks a box... I will skip... I'm sorry"
