"Railroad & Main is a really good option in a nice, new area of Williston! We just recently visited here for the first time and were very impressed with how many good-looking items were on the menu. I mean, I go to a restaurant normally and narrow entree choices to 2-3 items - here, there were like 10 different great choices! Their fall seasonal menu looks exceptional. I don’t know if it’s only during the month of October 2023, but if so, come here ASAP so you can try it!! Our group ended up getting the Thai street fries, the fall seasonal pumpkin/butternut squash soup, the Szechuan chicken sandwich, and the steak tacos. The steak tacos were really good, pumpkin/butternut squash soup was perfect, Thai street fries were massive and our favorite thing, and the only dish that we weren’t sure about was the Szechuan chicken sandwich. It had an interesting flavor, but maybe wasn’t for us. However, I don’t think this specific item reflects on the quality of food at this restaurant - everything else was presented very well and all the other food we had was really good. I definitely am craving those fries as I’m writing this review right now!! If those are that good, I bet the Thai tacos are amazing as well! I also am unsure how I feel of the atmosphere. It’s a very open setting, and I think Railroad & Main could add some things to the surroundings (or even darken the room a bit at dinner time) to make it a more inviting space. However, atmosphere is a minimal thing for me, and I would 100% come back to this restaurant if I were in the area because food is most important in my opinion! To sum up my review: almost everything is really good, service is great, maybe skip the Szechuan chicken sandwich (that’s the only thing), and that’s about it! Great place overall!!"

"My experience at Railroad and Main was underwhelming. The ambiance felt more like a cafeteria, and the floor plan was oddly designed. The lack of a proper sound system was noticeable, as music played from a speaker located elsewhere in the restaurant. In terms of the food, the prices did not match the quality. The caprese dish arrived with cheese swimming in balsamic and was overly salty, burning the tongue. The Mediterranean pasta lacked flavor, with overcooked and soggy vegetables. Even the Caesar salad with salmon was bland and missing the croutons. The service was good."
