Bass Pro Shops/Cabela’s Boating Center

"special ordered a firearm, talked with store and customer service before hand to ask questions about the process, and they seemed good with the details, and i followed all their instructions to the letter. When it came in i drove an hour and 20 min 1 way to pick up the pistol. i get there and following instructions gave the salesman the paperwork, and he goes out back gets it and returns. he opens case and and one of the magazines is damaged and he tells us after we get it we can file a warranty with the maker. ummm i'm not buying damaged goods, you have magazines on the wall give me one of those and YOU Warranty it, Nope wouldn't. Then the final straw NEVER once Brought up a any point in the process except when i drove almost an hour and a half to pick it up, Bass Pro shops doesn't do the background check like everyone else, they fax in the form to Law Enforcement and wait for them to call back and that could take up to 2 or 3 days. WHAT i just Drove 90 min to come get this gun, i'm licensed to carry in a state that doesn't even require it, i Cancelled the Sale got a REFUND, went to another gun store i founf had one and did my background check and i was out with my new toy in 7 minutes !!!! THAT'S How you do business !! i will never shop at a Bass Pro Shop Again EVER !!!!"

"I always love stopping in here when I am in the area. The guns and ammo counter were super crowded, but the store was great. They always have a good selection of outdoor clothing and goods. Stopped back and the store is looking good and well stocked. They even even had a decent selection of ammo in stock."
