Centerfold Laundry

"This place is unsafe and unsettling. Barely a working washer or dryer, needles in the corner and in a dryer. If you own a business you're supposed to take care of it btw, it's kinda what you're supposed to do. This place is as bad as The Wash House on Marlboro St. Both run right into the ground."

"Most machines are out of order, no soap for sale, don't care for the card system."

"Cute name, but... This place is filthy, stuffy, and dimly lit. They charge money to get an initial wash card to fill using cash or credit/debit. The washers are expensive for their small size; the 3 Lg washers are cold water only, and half of all the machines have out of order signs. The soap center is completely sold out of detergent, sold out of bleach, and sold out of fabric softener. The snack machine is empty as well. There's no restroom for patrons. There are only 3 chairs available. When this laundry card is empty, I'm never coming back to do any laundry here. Thank you, NEXT!"

"5/7/22 They slapped some new paint on the walls and cleaned up the floors fairly recently but all the problems are still there. ____________________________________ Machines are frequently broken for days to weeks at a time, dryers almost always have a weird smell that sticks to your clothes, nearly all the washers have some form of mold or rust in their dispensers. Honestly I'm kind of amazed I haven't gotten sick yet from using them. The coin machine randomly stops working and will keep your bills when that happens. The "soap center" vending machine rarely works and is even more rarely socked. Once you've put money in, if it's out of items to dispense, it will keep your money. There is no button to get your coins back on it. The "item out of stock" light is shifted off so that you cannot see if it's flashing or not. If a machine recently broke and no one has put a sign on it yet? You'll lose your money there too. I've seen patrons of this laundromat repeatedly have to take it on themselves to put up signs on broken machines to try and save future patrons from losing their money as well. The owner is rarely there, I get the feeling they don't think laundromats require any upkeep. There is a snack vending machine in the building, unfortunately it has never had food in it as far as I can tell - I've had to use this place for close to 3 years now, I don't recall ever seeing anything in it. Honestly if you're able to go anywhere else, go there."
