"Great hike. Easy to get trailhead mixed up with the Long Trail/AT trailhead. Stratton TH is about 1/4 mile west of the Long Trail TH. Not too much mud. Beautiful forest hike. Approx 4 miles one way to pond. A lot of the trail skirting the pond a closed for conservation. Camping is at the shelter or tent pads directly behind the shelter about 100 meters. Privy at shelter. Didn’t look at tent sites on the North side."
