"No wait on Thursday at 6:30! Welcomed with a smile and a very attentive server. I ordered the corn and bacon chowder, so thick and delicious! I also had a salad that was lovely, Greek style. My Dad who orders burgers all around the city finally got a burger cooked right! And a heaping pile of fresh cut fries, so good! We were so pleased we had to order the dessert special, a browned butter cake with whip and strawberries! Such a treat!!! So happy, can’t wait to go again!"
"Menu should read ‘Ribeye garnished with broccoli and doused with sauce”. I think I would have been less disappointed if that is how it read, and I would have asked for sauce on the side. Broccoli and potatoes are like the cheapest thing on the menu, if it’s a side, it should be a side. It was also a bit overdone (I ordered medium rare, you can judge for yourself from the picture, cut right when it got to table). Crème brûlée was very watery, wonder if they heated it under an oven burner that with a blow torch. Basic food preparation tips would make this place much better For the price, the food gets only 3 stars.. service was amazing and ambiance was good. 1 ribeye, 3 drinks and a desert $100. You can decide if that’s worth it or not. To me it’s a no."
"I'll be echoing what every other review is saying: this place is awesome. I have lived in Portland, Maine and just outside of Boston, and coming back to Concord I have always missed being surrounded by great food. Alexandra's Bistro has brought some amazing food to a place that really needs it. Highly recommended. Anyone not checking this place out is only doing themselves a disservice."
"What an amazing find (you have to know what you're looking for to know it's there- tucked away in a plaza)! Food is great- such healthy portions and really well prepared. The staff is very obviously family, at least the kind of family you choose, which makes your experience so pleasant as you dine. Can't wait to return!"
"I heard about this project from a fellow foodie and she was not wrong. I stupidly judged the strip mall location and diner-style seating and decor, but I was quickly schooled when I sat and watched the chef with his plating tweezers artfully arranging microgreens on salmon steaks. I was delighted with the Cucumber Collins (generous glasses, worthy of their hefty price tag) and wooed by the garden salad. What wooed me? Sundried tomatoes and Parmesan and the carefully dressed greens. It is easy to ruin a salad with too much dressing, but the chef knew what he was doing. My dining partner’s scotch egg was served beautifully and executed perfectly. I ordered the salmon with pesto and mashed potatoes and was glad I did! The pesto was mouthwatering. It’s been a couple weeks since my visit and I am excited to make another reservation, which I highly recommend you do. Go. It’s worth it."
