"Plentiful parking, good maps, but watch out for the change of coloring in the trail markers on the trees. There are lots of paths to take depending on your ability level. I like the steep path along the back of the park, alongside the river. There is a spot slightly uphill to the right for photographing the town of Hooksett, particularly the picturesque small-town side, north of the business area. If you want river views first, I recommend entering on the left, since the trail is much less steep going that way. Keep in mind it is on the other side of the river across from the highway, so you have a choice of views."
"Great easy, short trail options for my young children (4&5years). There's a short but more intermediate skill level trail also. I love the tid bit of history shared at trail head also."
"An awesome place hidden by family neighborhoods. Excellent short hikes with amazing views. If you make it to Indian Seat, you will be in awe."
"Great place for a trailwalk with or without your pup - I always bring my pal, Bogey along. We love to climb to the top and hang out there for a bit - connect with nature, chill out, read a book, have a snack - before coming back down and exploring the chair trail that overlooks the little town of Hooksett.
