"You can drive down the road to the parking in the middle of the woods. K do recommend downloading the app All trails so you can reach the mountain summits and let you're puppies run around in the water!! It gets steep I would suggest a 4x4 with enough ground clearance...my Yukon xl barely made it through certain areas."
"Not a far hike up hill in the State Park to this beautiful pond. Our dog enjoyed a swim in the pristine water."
"Beautiful hiking area in Weare. I just moved from Weare after living there almost 4 years and never knew this was here. Going to go back in the fall. Was about 3 miles round trip, to the pond, around, and back."
"There are two tiers of parking, and an easily identifiable historical marker. It is on the corner of mountain road and I would encourage you to pull off into the dirt quickly, not lingering on the tar considering where to park."
