"This place is great. I was under the mistaken impression that they only serve ice cream, and so was pleasantly surprised to see full breakfast and lunch menus available depending upon your timing. We wandered in like jerks at ~15min before closing and were still greeted with smiles and pleasant service and made to feel right at home. Both the turkey sandwiches and tomato soup were made of "real" ingredients - nice big chunks of turkey in the sandwich! - and tasted so much better than the watery cold cuts and reconstituted Campbell's that most roadside restaurants serve at this point in time. Even the pickles were tastier than I would have expected! Yes, things might be a little more expensive than you'd expect, but the quality and the absolutely great service are worth 10x that difference."

"Whenever I am up in Vermont I try to stop by here for breakfast. Their food is consistently delicious and hot. The two things I'd recommend the most are their muffins -- literally the best -- and to try their ice cream. It's very creamy and delicious. Everything else I get here is just a bonus. Their pancakes are also good and so are their omelettes. No matter what you do you can't go wrong. The waitstaff are always kind and attentive, no matter how busy they are. Always a pleasure to visit this place and I recommend it to anyone I know is visiting the area. Be aware this place is cash only. They do have an ATM. Sometimes they get very busy so you may have to wait to be seated. It is worth it! They also have paintings hanging around the building that are available for purchase -- they're also cash only, so be prepared if that's something you may want to buy."
