Reviews
"Did not get to go on trail since my group wanted to go back to see the mill. Very beautiful and the air smells amazing. I hope to come back and check it out later."
"Worth the view, but definitely not for the weak. It's alot like climbing a staircase, very elevated and very rooted, so bring comfortable shoes."
"Great trail. Magical misty walk after an all night rain. The first 1.5 mile is quite a huff, but the 1.5 to Okemo Peak is sweet, rolling along the ridge, with a short huff just before the top. Instead of going back the way I came, I took the Okemo hiking trail, Moose Track, down the ski mountain. It was exceptional. Very gentle with lots of switchbacks. I would suggest that as an alternate uphill to the peak The last .75 to Ludlow village was a killer on the pavement. The first thing I did when I got to town was buy new inserts for my hiking boots! Total hike was 7.6 miles, with about 1,800 vertical feet."
"It's a pretty challenging 3-mile uphill trail and then you have to come back. We went with kids and it took us over 5 hours round-trip with stops. The view from the fire tower was definitely worth it."
"Great quick hike up to the top of Okemo ski resort. The trail was muddy but not terribly steep. It was a far shorter hike than we anticipated based on the time recommendations we found but that just left more time to play in the nearby Buttermilk Falls!"
