"An extremely beautiful campground with views that make just sitting outside enjoyable! The sights were long (we’re 43 ft long pulling a truck) and wide enough to accommodate slides on both sides. The facility is clean and well kept. A 1 mile walking path around a lake and it’s quiet and peaceful. It’s close to Stowe, Montpelier, Lake Champlain and other cool places. Lots to see and good places to eat. We’ve been all over the US and this is one of my top 5 campgrounds! The staff are kind and helpful. I highly recommend it!"
"Beautifusmall t campground with pond and .8 mile walking path We stayed in a premium site looking at pond, Off from the crowd. Concrete pad, paved patio, grill (clean) with fireplace. Good WI-FI. Verizon worked in park sketchy outside of park. . Owners (Lisa) very nice, grounds well maintained. Note premium sites MUCH different than regular site. See map. Small town not much to do. Montpelier with drive to see Capitol building. Bragg Farm Sugar House a must. Very cute country store with reasonable prices and great ice cream ( (maple chocolate swirl)."
"We stayed in July at the new cabin by the pond, and our experience was wonderful! The cabin is comfortable, clean, and near enough to all of the amenities. The Bathrooms/Showers and Pool area were clean. Unfortunately the Pond was closed from the flooding but it did not diminish our experience. We look forward to staying next year!"
"We spent a weekend (2 nights) at Limehurst Lake Campground and found it nice and accommodating. Sadly the lake and beach area were closed off for swimming due to heavy rain and flooding, but kayaking and fishing were possible. Overall the campsite was great and clean. One building with facilities was newly renovated and features, besides bathrooms and showers, a laundry room. The only thing which could improve the shower experience would be some sort of board or seating area, like a folding or drop-down shelf, within the shower stall to make it easier to get dressed, especially in humid conditions :-). The second building with showers and bathrooms is older and is a rather "mobile" set-up. I recommend using the new facilities. One thing we were not used to, considering we are new to tent camping in the US, there are no electric hook-ups for tents or leanto-areas and no dish-washing station. This is certainly something which could be improved - especially, if you bring your own dishes and food and want to wash up before you go on."
"Our 2023 campground favorite! A lovely little spot tucked into the valley. Recent flooding meant we weren't able to swim in the pond, but we had plenty of fun swimming in the pool and fishing from the bridge—all 3 of our kids caught fish! Rick and Andrea were very pleasant and Rick jumped into action when we discovered a blockage in sewer hookup as we were getting ready to leave. Can't beat a waterfront site, nice dry wood, and friendly seasonal neighbors. We've been to a few campgrounds where the seasonals look like they're going to rot straight into the ground or are covered in tchotchkes, but these were well-maintained and not over-the-top. Definitely going into our regular rotation, especially considering its proximity to Norwich University, my husband's alma mater."
