Estella's Bar and Grill

"I’m a seasonal visitor to Lyndonville. Was eager to try Estella’s as I’m a hard core Pizza Man fan and wanted to try something new. I had the grilled shrimp and my fiancé had the steak tips. They were decent. Good portions. The onion rings are amazing. His mashed potatoes didn’t taste like real potatoes (instant?) and my shrimp was watery like they had just been thawed? But the service was spectacular. The ambience is nice. Beautiful lighting fixtures but brighter than I’d like dinner to be especially around the bar area. It had a very diner like feel and would be great for families but not first dates. I’d return for take out as the menu is loaded with many options. Reasonably priced. Great bar selection. Has something for everyone."

"I dined here for the second time in 4 months or so on January 11th. The first time I ordered the fried chicken and I was really disappointed. The batter was terrible and the chicken tasted off like it was past it's usable date. This time I ordered the special which was fried clam strips and scallops. The price was $22.00 and I expected I would be served at least enough food to be satisfied. The plate contained a handful of over fried dry clam strips and "5" (could they spare them) mostly raw and not fresh scallops. The batter was falling off and it was not a good tasting batter by any stretch. The cook should be ashamed of themselves for serving such poor food. The baked potato was not hot and probably re-heated. The waitress was caring so I left her a nice tip but I was not happy to have spent nearly $29.00 for a small portion of sub standard food."

"A great stop!! Don’t miss the Reuben sandwich or the sweet potato fries. Both were category bests! (Also, we had the chocolate peppermint cheesecake. I think it may have been homemade. It was really good.) Our waitress was friendly and on-the-ball."

"I went there the other night with my family. A busy Saturday. Service was great and the food was excellent. I'm pleased to see they're improving it even more with a renovated outdoor seating area and a new salad bar. I highly suggest the sirloin tips and twice baked potato. See you there again soon!"

"Best fried chicken I've ever had hands down, it was fantastic! The fries were also awesome as well. Wait was a little long, but with staffing shortages and a busy night that's totally understandable. Staff was friendly and personable, and the food was great. Overall, really good experience and definitely worth a try. Building itself could use some updating, but at the end of the day that's not what you go to a place like this for."
