"Stunning location, very good hot water for the bath, pet friendly and welcoming staff. They even let me sleep in a little. Stay here for a spectular view right outside your front door"
"Was here for a rehearsal dinner. The food was amazing and the service sublime. When I needed a private place to nurse my child, they went above and beyond to make sure I had a comfortable chair in a private room."
"I found the room to be a little pricy for what you were getting. They could use a little updating. Dinner was delicious and the included breakfast was one of the best I have ever had. Everyone was very nice and the bed was comfortable."
"What else can be said about The wildflower…we have stayed here 3-4 times and each time we stayed in a different room or part of the farm. It’s simply amazing. And what makes it even more special, is the staff. The staff and the management always go above and beyond to make one’s stay so special. The food and the pub are the real gems here…I’m not sure who the chef is on-site, but big props to them as we literally have tied every app and dinner on the menu. Finally, huge thank you to Caleb (bar manager extraordinaire) for really making our stay there with his cocktail wizardry even more special. Thank you Wildflower for all you do."
"We decided to stay at the Wildflower Inn for the New Years holiday. We brought our dog with us and stayed in the Carriage house in a dog friendly room. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm and dry on a very rainy weekend. Nothing special but fine for our needs- A place to hang out and sleep. Bathroom is utilitarian for what is otherwise a very cozy Inn experience and the shower head leaves plenty to be desired. The continental breakfast was great and so was the coffee. We had dinner reservations for NYE at the Inn and had been dreaming about cheeseburgers all day, only to find that the menu on NYE had been changed to exclude burgers. Bummer. We had a cheese plate delivered to our room upon arrival as requested, which was good but $25 was steep for a small variety of cheese, grapes, cucumbers, and some breakfast breads unpackaged and sliced on the plate. Let's talk about the parking lot. It was a soppy mess for the entirety of our visit, which was a huge pain since it soaked my shoes every time we exited our room and were constantly toweling off the dog. the mud vestibule in the room was very helpful in not tracking mud into the actual living accommodations- besides, a little mud never killed anyone, so no big deal. The location is great, the personnel were great, I wish we had been able to take advantage of the trail system around (the whole reason for our trip in the first place) but they were closed and the weather was unseasonably warm, not the fault of anyone- thankfully the great state of Vermont has boundless hiking opportunities which we took advantage of in the absence of ski/ bike opportunities. All in all, a nice, if rustic, place to stay in a wonderful part of the state."
