"A little Thurs night dinner at Hector's in Laconia. Warning!! If using Google maps to find this place, it is a logistical disaster. Restaurant is located in an area with a lot of one-way streets. The building is also surrounded with do not enter signs from 2 of the 3 access points. Once we got in the waiter was friendly and attentive. We were in the mood for pasta. Started with a Diet Coke and lime. Wife had a Summertime Sangria. It was refreshing! Ordered Chicken Scallopini,better half ordered Shrimp Mediterranean. Scallopini was tender and juicy with a light lemon sauce. Served over spaghetti. It tasted good not the best or worst I ever had. Shrimp Mediterranean tasted good. Shrimp were a little rubbery. Finished off with dessert, we ordered mud pie . Consisted of coffee ice cream w chocolate chips inside a chocolate pie crust. Dollup of whipped cream on the side. Good not great had better store bought. Overall okay. Our Waiter was very good."

"Our server Jen was fantastic and made my wife and I feel like royalty coming in for supper. The food was exquisite and even Gordon Ramsay would have to agree the dishes are on point. The atmosphere feels clean and modern in the renovated mill building in the old downtown part of Laconia by the river. A+ for everything here!"

"After some antique shopping and walking, we stopped in for a light lunch. Service was quick and friendly. Soup and sandwiches were hot and fresh. Food was tasty and not too salty. Overall a pleasant experience for a fairly inexpensive quick lunch."
