"Went to the office to pay for a night time trail walk that is guided. This should be interesting be on trail at night with others. It will be a first for both of us."
"Absolutely wonderful place to hike and explore, and super close to Nashua! I've spent many, many hours exploring this place. What's best is that once you're deep into the park, you can't hear cars or construction noises outside the park, which is so incredibly refreshing. I love to come here sometimes to bathe in the peace and quiet. In southern New Hampshire it's hard to come across places like this south of Bear Brook. Give it a visit: it's worth it. And bring hiking boots!"
"Our kids were fascinated by the story walk which has a little installment of a picture book scattered along a forest path. There's also a round building with educational objects, and many climbing installations."
"Nice place to walk. Quiet. Also has a rock labyrinth and an exercise trail."
"I have been here twice and loved it both times. Awesome trails and well marked. A couple suggestions.... Do take a map! We ended up hiking longer than we thought and had to make our way back for an hour in the dark. The map and trail blazes were extremely useful. One trail we found confusing was the French Meadow Cutoff trail. We ended up on a private road because we missed the blazes and took a right instead of a left. Although this might have been because it was dark, it was still confusing! A sign at that point (the trail to the private road between the Nichols Trail and the Eastman Meadow Trail) would have been useful to keep us on the French Meadow Cutoff. Overall though, a great place. Well worth the visit."
