"This is a super nice trail with many things to see. The beeline up to the tower is easy to accomplish and has Blueberries. The parking is ample. The trails are well maintained. Good for kids or dogs. There's no picnic tables or grills. There's no bathroom. There's no visitor center."
"This was a short easy hike to do. The trail had some washouts and a little mud but other than that it's an easy and worth while hike. There is a nice view over a field about half way up. The top of the mountain has the fire tower which only goes up 2 flights of stairs but you get incredible panoramic views. The tower is surrounded by wild blueberry bushes and the berries are delicious. This hike is kid friendly but make sure you get there early as the parking lot is small. We parked on the road and that was no issue."
"Always making good memories here. Pitcher Mountain is probably one of the easiest peaks to attain in all of New Hampshire. Great views from the summit ledges, fire tower, and lower pasture. Went up for sunrise and saw a moose! Pretty cool stuff..."
"This is a great short but steep hike. The trailhead up is only .2 miles and down is less than half a mile but it is steep. The view at the top is 360° and beautiful. There's also a fire tower st the top you can climb up for an even better view of the surrounding area."
"Small parking area (space for about 6 cars) The trail up pitcher mountain is short (1/3mi ) and well maintained, but very narrow near the top. Nice views but too short a hike for us. We continued along the monadnock-sunapee Greenway over to Hubbard hill and back. Alltrails clocked our round trip as 5.3miles"
