"We spent a couple of days in one of the cabins and had a nice experience. A sweet basic cabin. It was very clean. It had a bathroom, beds, electricity and wifi. Glamping fun. The Savoie Family was great and I can't wait to go back."
"Such a great little spot. The cabins are very clean and the linens smell like freshly cleaned laundry. Not that musky smell you get at a lot of motels. Just what you need for a quiet peaceful time away from your busy every day Life. Very close to all major attractions but away from the hustle and bustle. The owners are amazing, friendly people who interact with their guests. We will definitely be back. So glad we found this little place!"
"My wife and I along with family, friends and workers are greatly appreciative the hospitality and comfort that Savoie Lodging has given to us. It definitely is a place to visit for all the kindness and hospitality. Also, it is a great place to meet new people and have a lot of fun. Double J Construction thanks you deeply for all you did while being there, to assist you in your repairs on this amazing place."
"Stayed the weekend in mid August in one of the cabins. The cabin was clean, the mattress was decent, the water was hot and the grounds were spotless. The cabins are small and quaint. I think they said they were built in the '40's. At night they make a campfire and people hang out, talk about their day and enjoy a beer or two. Everyone I met there was friendly and chill. While they aren't on a lake or anything, they are pet friendly (I brought my dog), 3.5 miles from Meredith and just as close to Center Harbor. For the same price as a campsite, Savoie's is a true bargain."
"While I can't speak to the motel, I was not a fan of the cabins there. Depending on your tastes, you might be able to call them rustic, but for me they just felt cramped and outdated. They were either old enough or poorly built enough that the floors sloped rather drastically in two corners. The full-sized beds took up almost all of the floor space in the one room of the cabin. There was only about 3 feet of space between the side of the bed and the wall that held the sink and the entrances to the bathroom and shower. The front end of the bed did leave enough room to move and have a table, tv, and fridge, but the limited space on the side combined with the slanted floor threw me off. On both the outside and inside, the cabins just had an overall shoddy look to them (paint missing and the like). The cabins and campground were clean, and the staff was friendly, but i simply couldn't get past the incredibly poor state of the cabins. A motel (likely even the one on this campground) would definitely be better accommodations for a simple overnight stay, and tent camping somewhere else would be a more enjoyable camping experience. The cabins just don't seem like they would be enjoyable at all to people seeking either experience."
