"Brads a great mechanic and member of the community would send anyone down to get there car fixed or need a tow!"
"I can’t rave enough about my admiration for this garage. As a old car lover and female I have a hard time at the mechanics. Brad - the owner however is the BEST. Easy to talk to, understanding and above all smart mechanic!"
"Brad and his crack team are very competent, honorably low cost, and helpful with explanations. He has been generous with creative, realistic advice, both for me and my daughters."
"Brad is not only a capable mechanic, he is also a conscientious businessman. He will give an initial rough estimate before looking under the hood, and then if after closer examination it looks like the repair will be more costly, he will contact you first to ask if you want to proceed."
"I am a college student and attended the Dartmouth College Summer Research Program in 2014 on scholarship. On the drive up to Hanover, Vermont, my car was bouncing on the road at certain speeds. A professor at Dartmouth noticed that my brake area was red-hot and said that it was the calipers. I was in a jam, as a Lexus dealership was not near and I was afraid that I would ruin my car if I drove it back down to Massachusetts. A professor recommended Night Owl Motor Sports (Night Owl). The owner of Night Owl, Brad, assured me that he worked on all types of cars and that he could fix my car. The following day, Brad called and said that after he inspected my car, the valve cover gasket needed to be replaced. Since I am not a mechanic, I trusted that he was telling me the truth. The repairs took four days to complete and I was not given a loaner car. Brad charged $837.69 for the total repairs. Today, 16 months later, my car is back in the repair shop for VALVE COVER GASKET replacement at the Lexus dealership. I informed the Lexus mechanic that the valve cover gasket had been replaced 16 months ago and he said that the mechanic who had performed the previous work used inferior parts. On my receipt from Night Owl, the parts have a code number that denotes that the valve cover gasket was an "OEM," which stands for "Original Equipment Manufacturer." An OEM is a company that makes a part for another company's end product, in this case, Lexus. I called Brad to let him know that my car was back in the shop and I inquired why this would have happened. Brad said that parts wear out and that is just the nature of cars. He also stated that the "OEM" parts he used were not Original Manufacturer parts. I asked Brad to do the right thing and give me a partial refund for the valve cover gasket work. Brad told me that he wasn't going to do any such thing, that I wasn't justified in asking him for a refund. On a side note, the only way Brad would have known that the valve cover gasket was bad is if he removed the gasket cover. I didn't have any oil leaks that would have warranted him looking at the valve cover and am still not sure why Brad told me the gasket needed to be replaced. Now I'm left to wonder if I am going to start having caliper issues again. I feel Brad took advantage of me in the beginning because I am a student and a woman. If I had returned all of Brad's previous sexual innuendoes and flirtatious advances, I'm quite sure that he would have given the refund I requested. It is disparaging that we live in a world where women are reduced to sexual objects and no-one stands behind their work."
