Reviews of Riverside Park
"It’s a good size park with many different areas, all suited to different age groups and interests. There are large areas of grass where people play soccer, basketball and other sports, or just have picnics and relax. At the bottom in the park, there is a beautiful St. John river where you can drink your own soda, ice creams on a hot day and so on. It’s a great place for just sitting and contemplating while looking at the beautiful Mountain View’s. There’s a trail within the park which is well kept. This park is perfect for meditation, solo walks, walking dogs, spending time with friends and family too."
"Everything you'd expect from a small local park. There's a basketball court, two soccer fields, a small playground with child and baby swings, areas with tables and grills, a dog park, a gazebo, the huge pavilion, boat launch, restrooms and trails!"
"Nice little park in town. Enough room for kids to run around. The walking trails and river access are nice. It's my escape when I don't want to go farther."
"Great little campground included in the park. Clean, quiet and well maintained. Adjacent to pavilion, hiking trails and river for kayaking and fishing. Short walk into town for stores, restaurants, and pubs."
"The park is always clean and very well kept up with. My kiddos always have fun there. The beach part is very well maintained. Its a great place for a swim with the family. Just dont forget the water shoes, and watch out for leeches...so bring the salt. I enjoy bringing my kiddos there we always have fun."
