"Was sitting at my child's bus stop and one of there salesman stopped and went out of his way to see if I was ok and needed a ride home, most friendly and kind gentleman.the world needs more people like him"
"I'd look elsewhere for your spa/hot tub needs. I recently tried to make a purchase from them at the Fryeburg Fair. Before agreeing, I clarified with the sales person that 1) financing was through them and 2) delivery was free. I was assured of both things. Immediately after putting a down payment, signing paperwork and walking away from the booth I was sent an application for financing through Synchrony Bank. That should have been my first warning that these guys can't be trusted and that they will just tell you whatever they think you want to hear to get the sale. I let that go, got approved for financing and attempted to move forward with the sale, after being assured that the 26.9% financing that Synchrony offered wouldn't actually be the rate we were charged. - For the record, we were quoted about $170 for the hot tub. At 26.9% financing, the monthly payment just to cover interest would be $270 - Thankfully I never had to find out because when it came time for delivery, we were told that we'd have to remove the railing from our porch to get it delivered, even though there is a staircase right next to it that I have moved several hot tubs up and down previously. When I said I would not be removing the railing, we were told that it was fine, they'd figure something out. Then we were told it was going to be $300 to have our hot tub delivered. When that was balked at, we were told it would be $150 to get it delivered. When I told them I wouldn't be paying anything for delivery because I was assured of free delivery, I was told they would "figure something out". At that point I decided these guys are not someone I want to do business with. They will try to nickel-and-dime you every step of the way if they think they can get away with it. They will lie directly to your face. Be aware that when they say "free shipping", that apparently means so long as they don't have to do anything more than drop it off on your front lawn. Hard pass, people. There are several better options in the area."
"I picked the worst time to buy a pool. Smack dab in the middle of the pandemic. I dealt with Derek & Shelly on the sales and design side. The level of communication and transparency was second to none. When everyone seemed to use the pandemic as an excuse to underwhelm the team Premier just picked up the pace and made lemonade out of lemons every day. My pool was installed ahead of schedule this spring and Mike and his crew were awesome. The extra attention to leaving the job site neat over the weekends and the care they took with each step didn't go unnoticed. Mike called nearly every single night with updates on how the day went, where they were and where they planned on being. I can fully endorse Premier to anyone that wants quality. My backyard is still a work in progress but I'll update this post once the war zone is cleaned up. Thanks again to the whole Premier team. The Morins"
"The big plus for Premier pools is their employees- Specifically Ian and Amber. Both of these people have been more than pleasant and responsive. This is reason enough to go back and to Premier Pools . Ian , especially, has done an excellent job and has gone over and above to make sure the customer is happy with the work completed . Other than that though, the product itself has been less than satisfactory. I purchased an Island Spa in the summer of 2019 replacing a Tiger Spa from Mainely Tubs. The cost involved for set-up was more than I had expected because the electric requirements differed between pools. I used the electrician recommended who did a less than satisfactory job, charging an exorbitant price for something that broke after just one month. In the spring of 2020 the display screen broke and had to be replaced. and then in the summer motherboard needed to be replaced. It took 6 months to get the motherboard, due to backorders. The Tiger Spa I had before this Island Spa needed only a new heat pump in the fifteen years that I owned it. Thankfully, since I purchased the 3-year warranty, everything has been covered, and as I said before, the customer service has been without comparison. Everything is working fine now! Thank you Ian, Amber, and Derek!"
"Called last October to check and see what they had in stock, and ask a few questions. The girl that picked up (Amber I think?) was very impatient, and seemed unwilling to answer my questions about the tubs. Found out a shipment would be in, in November so we went ahead and asked for an invoice so we could write a check. After two weeks (and a couple of phone calls) we finally went to premier pools website, and submitted our contact info in the "contact us" section, hoping that maybe they just had both of our email addresses wrong that we had given multiple times. This is where things really went south. My girlfriend got a rude email from the sales woman stating "THIS IS THE THIRD TIME IM SENDING YOU THIS" in capitol letters and scolding us for using the corporate contact box on their site. Confused we both double checked our spam folders, and yet, neither of us had received any sort of email from her or the company prior. Rude, but whatever, we paid for it. Over 12k. They told us they would contact us before Thanksgiving when the tubs came in to their store. We decided to call in the beginning of December when we hadn't heard anything yet, and were assured they would be in before Christmas, and were being held up at the factory because of limited parts from other manufacturers (completely understandable) Finally after Christmas comes and goes and it's the first week of January, we receive a generic letter from Premier stating our tub was behind schedule, but here is a coupon for a couple bucks off if you spend more money here. We tried calling a few times over the next couple weeks to figure out what was going on, and our calls were met with instant hang ups. Left messages, asking for a call back with our numbers. Nothing. Finally my girlfriend managed to get through last week to talk to Amber again, and was told that they called her every week with status updates, which they didn't, and when confronted with this Amber told my girlfriend that she had spoken with her husband (obviously referencing me) which never happened either and was a blatant lie. Asking about the phone numbers they had on file, they only had hers and it was wrong, despite the numerous times we gave them info. Fed up, my girlfriend canceled the order, and we managed to get a full refund. Glad to see today, when the refund came in, it's addressed to her and I together, with one last name, despite the checks we sent to them either had only my girlfriends name, or both of our FULL names on it, and it was mentioned at the time of cancellation that we were NOT married. ZERO ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. You were not going to get this detailed review until I found you cannot even write a refund check out right. Glad the demand for hot tubs and pools is so high that you obviously don't care about the customer."
