Ramada by Wyndham Lewiston Hotel & Conference Center

"Ramada Inn Lewiston, just remember this name for the best hotel in Maine. I have stay few days for a wedding in January 2024 at this hotel. Stepping through the lobby, I was immediately struck by the beautiful and friendly reception area. Bright and very spacious...very welcoming atmosphere. The staff throughout the hotel was very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. They always greeted with smile to us. The location of the hotel is great. The room was very spacious and well equipped with all essentials. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to the travelers in need of accommodation in that area. Will be back to this place soon..!!!"

"I wish I had taken pictures of how disgusting this place is. There are roaches, rust, mold, wiring on the walls, wall paper falling down. It smells terrible. I checked out within 3 hours, and I was not given any kind of refund. Not even for the second night which of course I checked out on the first. I was told I would have to go through Expedia. Expedia called the hotel for them to say that I stayed there and there wouldn’t be any refund when I clearly checked out. I told them who I checked out with and all the other information. This place is overall disgusting and stole my money. Ramada used to be a nice hotel, now it’s filled with sketchy people and filth. Do not stay there!!"

"This place was nasty they have cockroaches , smelled terribly of cigarettes! The toilet and tub was clogged they made my husband plunge it (which didn’t work) they switched us rooms to one that had the same problems , the hot tube had cup of soup in it! Room service NEVER came in we had to buy our own toilet paper and sweep our carpet and they said room service would come in and still never did not once also the biggest thing for us was they stole money from us when they thought we where paying with a card they charged 910 when they found out we where paying cash they changed the prices to 965. Also we tried to leave a day early and asked if we where out by check out if we could be refunded the day they asked if we paid with cash or card I said cash and they said no because I didn’t pay with a card.. with a 3 year old child with us this was the WORST EXPERIENCE WE HAVE EVER HAD PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE ."

"We used to stay there when my daughter lived in the area, It WAS nice, clean and offered a continental breakfast that was wonderful. We recently stayed Christmas night, there was no soap in the room, the bathtub was rusty, no paper cups for water or coffee. When we went to the lobby the next morning, breakfast consisted of coffee, bread for toast, bagels and yogurt. That was a disappointment! Won't stay there again!"

"This hotel needs to be totally renovated. Carpets were stained and filthy. Outer wall was crumbling inside our room. Everything was dirty except the sheets. Towels were thin, scratchy and dingy. Hallway smelled like some weird, old cooking odors. Decor was 1970’s which I could overlook if it was in good repair and clean. This was not. Wish we’d spent an extra 40 bucks for Holiday Inn Express."
