"I would not recommend this place to anyone who is sensitive, has anxiety, is queer or trans, or disabled. I had an anxiety attack before the appointment, and also was not feeling well in general due to another health condition. The receptionist was very kind, and talked me into going through with the appointment. The tech, however, from the get-go, was very off-putting to me and my partner. We were not late to the appointment, but they had lost our pre-registration, which we had done at great length the day before by phone, which put us a bit behind schedule. (This also meant that they deadnamed my partner repeatedly.) They told me to put the gown on, then the technician lectured me for taking too long, which I could not help because I was having trouble moving fast and answering questions. Her lecture wasted several minutes during which she could have just been testing me, and then she said, "Well, now we don't have time to actually do the test." She tech told me to just get dressed and sent me away without a mammogram, even when her next client was running a few minutes late. She was also rude to my partner. Find someplace where the technicians actually want to work with other humans, who are sometimes fragile, especially with tests as intimate as this. Women with any history of sexual violence might be anxious, and should be treated with kindness; thus, you'll want to avoid this place if this is a concern for you. Anyone who has trouble with mobility and might not move fast enough will be chastised. This place's tech has zero skills to even be basic polite."
