Coastal Mechanical

"Coastal Mechanical installed a heat pump system with 4 heads and an air handler in my house in March of 2022. It never worked properly. They did come out several times to try to fix it. In July of 2023, they said to call another company as the system was out of warranty and they would not come out anymore. I called several companies and each one told me that there was a problem with the system installation and it would cost a lot to troubleshoot it. I was told that the system was not sized correctly for the size of the house. I was also told that the outside unit was not big enough to handle the number of inside heads. I did hire one company to try to fix it. The outside compressor was making a loud noise when running. They said that there was too much refrigerant in the system and that caused the compressor to fail. They said the compressor needs to be replaced. In the past, I called Mitsubishi and they told me I should have had a Mitsubishi Diamond Contractor install the system. Coastal Mechanical told me that they were 1000 % a Diamond Contractor. That was a misrepresentation. I wasted a lot of money and comfort on the non-working system that Coastal Mechanical installed a year and a half ago that I have to replace now."
