"This is a great place to launch a boat canoe or kayak as previous comments said it's also a great spot to bring your kids to learn about birds and water life to the right of the parking lot you will see an old piece of the bridge if you follow the rock path back in to the wooded area there are beautiful gardens in the spring it was just remodeled and redone all natural with log benches and a beautiful gazebo type structure also if you follow the path all the way back to the marsh line they built an observation deck to view Osprey and other birds there's a free telescope to view the eagle nest on top of the power lines one of my favorite places to visit with my kiddos 3 and 7 the great place to walk around and just take in nature great for early spring summer in late fall winter it's a little difficult because they don't plow the parking lot"

"This boat launch makes it easy to launch a canoe, kayak, or any motor boat. Plenty of parking. The launch and surrounding area is very clean. Carry In and out for trash My only issue was that we went on a Sunday morning and the bathroom was not open. I needed to go to the shell down the street"
