"I can’t thank Dr. Bailey enough for being such an amazingly wonderful vet to my sweet darling, Abigail. Abby first met Dr. Bailey when she worked at Dehler Animal Clinic, and followed her over to Stoneledge Animal hospital. My sweet darling was a few weeks shy of 17 years old when it was her time to cross the rainbow bridge this past Monday. My boo boo bear, my babe, my whole world. Dr. Bailey was so professional and gentle with her in her final moments as was the technicians. I can’t thank them enough for the support. They allowed us as much time as we wanted with her. Grieving has been so hard, but I’ll forever be grateful that Dr. Bailey was the one to help her cross over, Abby wouldn’t have wanted any other vet."
"We had great experiences with Dr. Bailey, however we also had mediocre experiences with Dr. Durand and a really bad experience with Dr. Goodman. Unfortunately, in emergency situations, we typically couldn’t see Dr Bailey, and will be switching vets because of it. Dr. Goodman shows a lack of bedside manor - asking me if I am the type of person who would do anything for my dog - and an inability to read and communicate diagnostic tests that ultimately led our dog to experience more pain than necessary at the end of his life. Dr. Durand showed a lot of care for our dog and communicated well with me around his testing results, but ultimately ignored symptoms that were signaling his underlying medical problems. If you can see Dr. Bailey, she is wonderful!"
"The most pleasant experience I've had at a vet to date. Very friendly staff, and the doctor was knowledgeable regarding issues with my guinea pig. I was also pleasantly surprised that the rates were a bit less than my previous vet. Highly recommend!"
"My husband and I have used Stoneledge for 7 years now for our two dogs. We initially had a vet who left the practice, we decided to stay and ended up seeing Dr. Mike. One of our dogs passed away last year. It was a less than thrilling experience of course, but the things that could use improvement were at least understandable. When we put down our first dog, we saw Dr. Goodman and were appalled by the care we received that day, but she wasn’t our vet so we stayed. We were asked “so what brings you here today?” when she entered the room, and it was very clear she had not read our dogs chart to say he had lymphoma and was being kept comfortable by Dr. Mike for the previous couple months. Fast forward to one year later when our other dog is in poor health, Dr. Mike had just left the practice and we were stuck seeing Dr. Goodman. We made the decision to not throw endless medications at her and prolong the inevitable and decided to put her down, as she was having more bad days then good recently. Continuously over the two days we were there last week for an exam and ultimately the appointment to lay her to rest, our dog was proceeded to be called he/boy when she was a girl wearing a bright pink flower collar, we were scheduled at a time that she clearly was taking on too many patients as the room was not prepared, and the amount of time left in the room between the steps of the process made it evident she also had another appointment at the time, it was excessively drawn out and more tortuous than it had to be, making the entire decision one we regret as we contemplated calling an in home service instead after our previous experiences with this vet recently but with the weekend approaching we took the appointment that was offered. Our dog who has never been aggressive towards anyone at home or otherwise, including the techs who were in and out of the room both days, and all previous years, was notably growling at Dr. Goodman which only leads me to believe she could read the burnt out temperament this woman gives off. The practice as a whole used to be great, and we never switched even after moving 30 minutes away and now that is something I will regret forever as it truly has left us with a traumatizing experience for our dog’s last days. And their Facebook reviews are turned off which leads you to wonder what other bad experiences people have had since the recent changing of staff."
"The only people I’ve trusted to manage my pups health and complex allergy issues. Despite her frequent visits for shots and skin issues she still CANNOT wait to visit her favorite techs and Dr. Mike. All smiles and tail wags from beginning to the end of the visit. She gets just as excited to visit the office as she does when you mention the p - a - r - k."
