"Dr. Hunt and his entire team is compassionate, professional, honest, caring, and downright amazing. They’ve helped me through cancer and surgeries and nasal surgeries fixing my dogs. I always taking less fortunate dogs, who need love and care, and usually have a fair amount of health problems when I get them he is always always been amazing to me, my wife and our pets, I can’t say enough good about him and his team a lot of vets I feel are about the money no matter what when I stop in most places cost minimum $500 that’s not the way it is with Dr. Hunt it’s more about making the dog healthy and it’s never more than I think it should be. I literally have recommended these amazing people to everyone. I know my whole family brings all their animals here And never go anywhere anywhere else my sister drives two hours each way to have her animals loved by Dr. Hunt and his entire team. We were blessed to find Dr. Hunt"

"Dr Hunt has been seeing our two dogs for approximately 4 years, and I thought we had a great relationship with them, he's conducted two major surgeries on our two dogs over that time, this September 2023, my female Jack Russell/beagle mix developed a cyst on one of her mammary glands and he gave us an estimate to remove it of $1,300 to $1,900, I didn't understand why the surgery would cost relatively more than the two previous "MAJOR" surgeries he had completed on two of our dogs prior, so I called up there to get some clarification seeing as my dog had been screaming in pain since I took her up there for this to be seen, and waited for the estimate, I had what I felt to be a perfectly normal conversation with the member of his nursing staff, I probably sounded a little excited because I was seriously worried about my dog, and the girl I talked to was extremely nice with me and explained the procedure and how the cost didn't reflect on just the surgery itself, but the cost of the blood work, the anesthesia, and the time she would be under during the operation, I kept my mouth shut the entire time she spoke and didn't speak again until she stopped, she told me she would talk to her manager (Leslie) to see if she can get the cost split into two payments, 2 days later my wife received a message "ON HER" email but addressed to me, they didn't message me"ON MINE", in that message she was told that the young girl who I spoke to on the phone who I found out was new there at her own admission, told management that I called up there acting very rude and was yelling at her as she was trying to discuss the procedure and the costs, this was far from the truth as I had three people sitting here listening to the entire phone call which I had on speakerphone, and we were told our business was no longer welcome there, at a time when my dog was in severe pain, instead of calling me and talking to me, they chose to throw us out and no longer give care to our two dogs, I went up there the following day to get my dog's medical records and to try and talk to somebody again to make clear that the phone call DID NOT take place the way the medical assistant described it, (AND THAT TALK WENT VERY WELL WITH THE STAFF BEING EXTREMELY KIND TO ME AND TELLING ME THEY WILL DO EVERYTHING THEY CAN TO HELP US), even stating they believed it to have been just a miscommunication, and my wife again, got another email threatening that they were calling Dover PD to get them involved because I went up there to try and clear this up, the fact that this person lied as to the way that phone call took place resulted in my dog not getting the much needed help she needed right then and there, and I had to rush her to an animal Hospital where she was diagnosed with cancer, if this wouldn't have happened Dr Hunt would have went forward with removing the cyst because I never minded paying the cost, I LATER FOUND OUT THIS COULD HAVE BEEN DEADLY IF HE HAD, I was told by the Hospital that him doing this surgery to remove that cyst would not have helped her anyway and it would have been worthless to do, Dr Hunt never told us anything like that because he would had rather just done the surgery and make the money off of something that wouldn't have helped her anyways, and I think he new that at the time. I'm filling litigation against Dr Hunt's practice for the slander that this medical assistant committed by telling the LIE that she told Leslie her manager that got us removed from their practice as clients. I wouldn't recommend questioning Dr. Hunt or his staff about pricing, you may end up losing your dogs life due to being thrown out at a time when your dog needed their help the most. I'd suggest you click on the lowest reviews on this place first, it seems this isn't the first time they have done something like this to people and their animals. I'd be very weary of taking your animals to these cruel people, and I wouldn't believe all these five ⭐ reviews, nobody has 60 out of 68 5 ⭐ reviews."

"The staff and Dr Hunt are absolutely wonderful here! My Lincoln had an emergency and they got him right in as a new patient. I have nothing but great things to say about them!"

"The one thing we miss about Dover? Our vet! We recently moved to Florida but still miss the staff. They were amazing with my reactive pit and my squirmy screaming chihuahua! They really are the absolute best in the area. My chi contracted Lyme (yes she had flea and tick meds) and Dr. Hunt cured her - honestly I didn’t know if she was going to make it - but she’s living the lap of luxury in the sun now !"

"We had our first visit with Dr. Hunt yesterday. I was very pleased with the visit overall. The office is very cute and cozy. The exam room looks like a mini living room with loveseat and all. The staff was very professional and sweet. I have had pets over the last 25 years and have seen numerous veterinarians and this by far has been the most pleasant experience. Dr. Hunt discovered that my dog was still suffering from a neck injury back in May that was not treated properly by another vet. I had no idea this was still a problem. My sweet Ginger is now on a course of medication and is expected to make a full recovery."
