"(UPDATE: Pine Tree Legal did email me and gave me instructions on how to get ahold of them better. Although, I had already tried the way they suggested and I still wasn't going to be able to get ahold of someone on the phone. But, i appreciate the fact that they wrote back to me!! I'm adding a star!) I am disappointed with Pine Tree Legal Assistance, and that is why I only gave them 2 stars. I've tried on 3 different days that they have their phone lines open. I followed the prompts and I never even heard the phone ring to them after the prompts. There was no way to leave a message. I need urgent legal advice and help, and I am on disability. I cannot afford to pay any attorney that I want, just for advice and direction. That is why I called Pine Tree legal. I've had many, many friends around the Portland area, that have used their help, and they never said they had any issues getting someone to answer the phone. That is why I give 2 stars. I know they are better than this, just from the good things I've heard. But, I am so, so very upset that I can't get through to them. I WILL UPDATE THIS REVIEW, IF AND WHEN I DO GET TO TALK TO THEM."

"Pine Tree Legal helped me to understand my rights as a renter. They confirmed what I already knew to be true. My Landlord was trying to pull the Wool over my eyes. Pine Tree was very polite and helpful for my issue. They told me where I could download a copy of our Rights as Renters here in Maine. How I should copy the information and personally hand the rules to them. Told me to tell them that every time they violate my home by entering without my permission, that I can sue them . For every Violation I could sue them again. Plus they advised me for free as I'm below the poverty's schedule."

"Whomever they have answering the phone they may want to replace. I have never had someone talk so rudely and short in my life. The courthouse and police both pointed me here, and she couldn’t even be bothered to point me in the right direction to deal with what I needed. I was told they weren’t an answering service and she couldn’t help me at all. Probably the rudest person I’ve talked on the phone with. You’re there to help people not belittle them and be rude."
