About the Business
Steppingstone Inc, located at 111 Durfee Street in Fall River, Massachusetts, is a health institution dedicated to empowering individuals and families to reach their highest potential in mind, body, and spirit. With a focus on staff development, financial feasibility, and community collaboration, Steppingstone offers peer recovery support and treatment to help high-risk individuals, particularly those struggling with substance abuse and homelessness.
In response to the growing issue of drug overdoses in Massachusetts, Steppingstone has been working tirelessly to make an impact and save lives. The institution offers a range of services including residential SUT beds, permanent supportive housing, outpatient clinics, medication-assisted treatment, offender reentry services, and more to assist homeless individuals in the community.
Recognizing the prevalence of mental health disorders in the population they serve, Steppingstone obtained its mental health treatment license in 2008 and now offers a full spectrum of mental health treatment services in addition to substance use treatment. With clinics in both Fall River and New Bedford, Steppingstone provides comprehensive evaluation, medication management, individual and group therapy, and more.
Join Steppingstone in their mission to make a difference in the lives of those in need by participating in events like the 'Get Steppin' Walk for the Homeless. Your support helps Steppingstone continue to be a leader in behavioral health treatment and homeless services in the Southcoast Massachusetts area, benefiting both individuals and communities alike.

"I was there in 2008, i was paroled from jail and was an absolute mess i never thought I'd succeed and here i am in 2023 still clean. All the little things like making my bed, doing chores, taking accountability for my actions ect. made a huge difference. sure there have been some struggles along the way but i am a father of 4 and my kids are happy and healthy. if it wasn't for steppingstone idk if my kids would even have a father to love and love them. I highly recommend to anyone whose 100% serious about getting and staying clean."
"If you want your hippa rights violated by Karen and if you want your personal rights manipulated by Kathleen or if you want Courtney to twist all of your words I would HIGHLY recommend stepping stones halfway house. Rachel is VERY immature for her age and petty and unrealistic. Kathleen made me take my bra off during a BAG SEARCH and she KNEW that I didn't know that I didn't have to take off my bra but tricked me into thinking that I had to and Karen told my recovery coach that I relapsed when I DIDNT STILL TO THIS DAY I AM CLEAN and I had no release signed .. buy yet they let Krystii Pottle steal my clothes, shoes and shower towels None of them know anything about addiction or recovery its sad really. And they lied and told me I could bring my baby but when I got there, there was no beds for my infant because they didn't tell me they only have 2 baby beds which both were taken All they do is focus on making an easy, quick paycheck. They make the clients think they did something wrong and will restrict them or kick them out just so the next client comes in because when a new client comes they get paid more from our health insurance so it's like a revolving door one person out, the next person in and the money stays flowing HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL"
