"I normally do not write reviews but in this case I feel compelled. Dr. Berhane saved my brothers life by being not only a Doctor but a man that genuinely cares for him. Needless to say the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree and my Doctor recently retired. My brother Chris, who I consider a great judge of character recommended Dr. Berhane. I was with the same Doctor for a long time so when he retired I was nervous. I don’t like change especially when it comes to my mental health. From day one I connected with Dr. Berhane. He cares, educates and holds you accountable. His front end staff has to be the nicest group of woman I’ve ever dealt with in this type of environment. Your greeted with a smile and I can say every time I leave I feel better about myself. Dr. Berhane is a medical professional and it’s been my experience that some Doctors act as if what they say goes and don’t take the time to explain why he does things a certain way. He does his research and if you need an outlet, a place to go to get the help you need and do yourself the favor and see Dr. Berhane. "I am forever grateful for Dr. Berhane for all of the amazing care I have received there over the past 3 years. I am a RN who was injured while working. I was referred to Dr. Berhane for pain management from my neurosurgeon. When I first saw Dr. Berhane I immediately felt heard and like the severe pain I had been experiencing for the past 6 months was very real, and he got to work right away in treating my pain. Over the past 3 years I have undergone countless procedures that never lead to any improvement in my pain. He never gave up on me. He never told me that my pain wasn't real or valid. Anyone with any experience with Workman's comp insurance companies can attest to their ability to play games with peoples health and wellbeing and constantly deny much needed treatment. Dr. Berhane is experienced in this field and dealt with anything they threw at him, and never let their denials mean that I didn't get the care I needed. I was seen at Walpole Medical Center a minimum of every 2 weeks for the entire time I have been under his care. He has treated me with dignity, respect and compassion since the day I set foot in that office. Here we are 3 years later and I FINALLY just had a surgical procedure that has tremendously helped my pain levels and decreased my pain medication dosing. Through this whole journey he has been one of the best advocates of my care. I recommend him to anyone that will listen because he changed my life, and taught me what kind of provider I want to be when I finish my degree as a Nurse Practitioner. In addition to the amazing care I received from Dr. Berhane, I also have had the pleasure to get to know his office staff. Nancy and Diana are so kind and always greet me with a smile. I am so thankful that I was referred to him, and I cannot express enough the great care that has been provided by this office at each and every visit."
