"Dr Arshad Iqbal Neurologist is an absolutely terrible, useless, uneducated, unknowledgable, unexperienced, cold, rude Neurologist, and definitely doesn't care about patients. Shouldn't be qualified to be any type of dr, he told me at my appointment he purposely gave me the wrong diagnoses in my medical records because he wants me to get a Lyme disease test and him lying about my diagnoses is the only way to get that test. I told him then I don't want a Lyme test, that I want him to put my correct diagnoses I need my medical records to be correct, but he adamantly refuses to correct it, so now my medical records are not truthfully about my conditions. I also am having neurological cognitive issues with my brain, thinking, functioning, and he said he's a Neurologist that doesn't know anything about the brain so he can't help with any of those type of issues, nothing brain related. Omg I was shocked! What a rude useless dr, he's not to be trusted, not competent at all! I'm so upset."

"Dr. Iqbal said my husband’s symptoms were stress related and imaginary. Two months later, we went to Mass General Movement Disorders clinic where my husband was diagnosed with Lewy Body dementia. They put him on medication that relieved his hallucinations and sleep disorder along with other symptoms that we now know clearly point to Lewy Body dementia. I’m just grateful that we did not listen to Dr. Iqbal and instead found competent care. My husband is now back to work and doing very well."

"I had a horrible experience with this MD. I was very ill for several weeks and arrived at his office in desperate need of help. The receptionist was rude and unaccommodating. She took my license and didn't remember to give it back, luckily my partner was with me, saw it on her desk and picked it up before we left. I have also been billed for a follow up appointment that I had appropriately cancelled with his receptionist. Upon meeting Iqbal I was hyperventilating and my anxiety was at an intolerable level. I provided him with a full description of my symptoms and issues, which he reluctantly read after I informed him I was a medical professional. Before reading it he stated he didn't have time to do so. If a doctor doesn't have time to read a two page description about your health that should be the first warning sign, but at the time I was desperate. He did not seem to believe the extent of my suffering. I provided him with my medication list. I am unaware whether he was unable to connect the dots or just didn't care, but one of my medications was causing the increase in anxiety and the hyperventilation. All he told me to do was calm down, which was impossible for me in that condition and being affected by medication. I believe he profiled me, and nothing was going to make him actually care for me. He prescribe a medication that caused incredible side effects I don't feel comfortable discussing online. I called his office reporting my new symptoms. In distress I awaited his call, but I did not receive one. Instead I received a call from my pharmacy, because he had sent a prescription without discussing anything with me. He did not tell me to stop taking the medication nor did he treat me with any curtesy or respect. Thankfully I was able to realize that that the medication he prescribe was causing the distressing symptoms and stopped taking it. I am incredibly upset that I was treated so poorly and that Iqbal thinks its appropriate to not communicate with his patients but instead just funnel drugs at them (at least in my experience). Doctors are supposed to be healers but in this case he only made my situation worse. I understand that no doctor can predict side effects but if he had looked at the facts and symptoms and had any respect for me, I believe I would not have suffered to such an extent. Thankfully I have recovered due the wonderful care I received somewhere else. I hope he reads this ands adjusts his behavior for the sake of his patients, but if he didn't have time for me then I doubt he will now."
