Polina scheduled us for three thirty minute sessions and effectively taught us steps that wowed our guests. "I have been dancing at Ballroom Dance Portland since 2016. I came here as a beginner who had very little experience but a strong desire to improve. I found the teachers to be skilled at teaching the adult learner, even the abject beginner. Polina, Ramon and the other professionals were patient and kind; willing and able to teach anyone at any level. I enjoy the twice-monthly social dances as a great opportunity to practice new skills and get to know the others dancers. We have a great community of people who genuinely care about one another. "Ballroom Dance Portland is a wonderful place to learn to dance, regardless of one's skill level. The instructors are extremely talented with their dancing expertise, but also their ability to teach at many levels. The venue is very accommodating and the atmosphere is very supportive and friendly. I started as an absolute beginner and now four years later, I'm still learning and growing, through both private lessons and group classes. Polina has been very patient with me as I learn, she continually encourages me to reach new goals, and I consider myself extremely fortunate to have such a high caliber teacher.
