Reviews
"If you have serious mental health issues, I very much recommend you DO NOT go here. I've been dealing with this place for months and I swear I have never been so unstable in my life, especially considering I'm seen here almost every 2 weeks. If I could switch I would but no one is available to take my case on short notice. Constant changes in meds causing insurance issues and going without meds in-between causing huge mental health episodes and withdrawl lows. I've called this place in tears multiple times asking, borderline begging for help and get no where. I've reached out to a supervisor 3 times now with no answer. This place is a joke and doesn't care about the patients stability. Stay away."
"This place is a joke. I have an appointment card and went at date and time and nobody put me in the schedule. Then they rescheduled me and called me 1/2 before appointment to postpone it. I will not recommend this place to my worst enemy. This place is terrible"
"Seeing some of the reviews people have left here are a bit disheartening to me... I completely understand one person's perception of something can be unequivocally different from anothers. I understand that we are all struggling, and that always adds to the everyday challenges we face. We are also immersed in a pandemic that NONE of us asked for nor wanted, yet it was thrust upon us regardless. That has made scheduling very difficult(everywhere really) but especially in a facility such as this. So many are desperately struggling with the world around us, it is a collective worry that has invaded all of us. Society is uneasy, we are all struggling. Some assuredly more than others.. My own personal experience here has been nothing short of a true Blessing. I am struggling right now with many personal and work issues and undoubtedly needed to reach out for help. I put my pride aside, as well as the stigma so many of us bear with mental health issues, and was referred to Tri-County. They immediately set me up with not just a professional- but a TEAM of professionals who are ALL 100% looking out for me, my best interests and my own personal pursuit of happiness. They have gone above and beyond their 9 to 5 duties, even checking in with me on their personal time and weekends to be sure that I am happy, healthy and back to living life to its fullest potential.. The times we are in do not occur in a personal vacuum, this affects ALL of us. Including the professionals working here. They are people too. Yet, they set their own personal trepidations to the side in order to help others. To help us. To everyone here at Tri County Mental Health: Your work here does not go unnoticed, nor should it be discounted or overlooked. You are uplifting our community with a vital service. So many of us suffer quietly and alone with depression, substance abuse, anxiety, PTSD and a plethora of other struggles. Especially in the times we find ourlves in. If any of you ever by happenstance stumble across this review one day, I just want to personally say - thank you. You are appreciated.... A special personal recognition to Dr Paul Vincel, Tiffany and Shannon. THANK YOU for all of your help along this rocky path in my life."
"Too long of a wait list for my children to be seen. Only called me one time to try and put my child with a provider, I called back less than half an hour later only to be told that slot had been filled and asked me if I wanted to be put back on the wait list. They then sent me a letter telling me they had been trying to get ahold of me for services and that if I did not call by deadline they would be taking my son of the waitlist. When I called the receptionist was not polite or compassionate to the frustration/ situation that we had been receiving trying to get an appointment and proceeded to tell me that they could not book an appointment with me until I had provided proof that their father had given permission for them to be seen, even after I disclosed that I have legal primary decision making authority and that their father would be at the appointment should they need further verification. (After having gone through this during initial referral intake and having them express understanding). This second person refused to accept my answer, because company policy. My children had been on a wait list for over 1 month. I refuse to allow them to be seen by any practitioners if this is how their front end staff treat clients during their most emotional need times. The nature of the business is to enforce policy over patient centered care, especially during times of great need for mental health. I am incredibly disappointed."
