"Amanda was an amazing experienced therapist for my daughter for two years. We had already been through a couple when I got a referral from a friend for Amanda. She was really getting through and making huge improvements with my daughter, then she got hospitalized for a few months. I met with her a few times when my daughter was hospitalized and it was very positive. Right before my daughter was finishing up her partial program with Hasboro, the hospital called to make sure services were in place before she was discharged. I found out from Hasboro that Amanda could no longer help Pam, she didn’t have the time anymore in her schedule, her role had changed. I was left on my own to find my daughter a new therapist and I was never even notified by Amanda herself that she could not keep Pam. I called her about 8 weeks later to find a referral to a new therapist and she didn’t even return my call. It took us three months to find a new therapist that took our insurance, and I have never received a call back from her. I just wanted people to know how frustrating therapy can be. It has really affected her trust now going forward. I am super disappointed and needed to post my feelings."
