"I bought a StarCraft Autumn Ridge MB 20 travel trailer through J and M. Our experience has been by far the worst through a business that I have ever dealt with. We bought the camper in July of 2023. This camper is meant to be used for personal use and also to put on RV share to make some residual income for the year. So, far in the last 7 weeks we have had 3 separate renters and each renter has had issues with the camper during their rental. This has made it difficult to get quality reviews and also get a customer base for the business that we were are creating. These issues that are listed below are manufacturing issues or issues due to the quality of work that J and M has set forth in fixing things within the camper. The first renter had the camper for a week and the fridge didn't operate correctly. We had to give the renter a gift card and also risked not getting a good review for this. The shower also had leaking issues. When the camper was returned to the shop for the fridge issue they told us that the fridge was a dud fridge and we would have to wait for them to hear back from the manufacturer to tell them what to do next when it came to the replacement of the fridge. This made it so future renters couldn't use the fridge The second renter had the camper for 3 days and they unrolled the awning. While the awning was out 5 lag bolted screws fell out of the awning on the left side and this made the awning fall on the renters and also made the awning rip on the upper right side due to the tension weight of the left side falling off the camper. This renter also couldn't use the fridge as well which they were banking on for a wedding event. That renter has requested a 30% discount due to this. The third renter that just returned the camper to my house today said that the TV wall mount that was installed by a mechanic at j and m fell off the wall and ripped the screws out of the wall. They also couldn't use the fridge because they haven't called us about what the issue and recourse is for fixing it. They also couldn't use the awning because if they rolled it out they would rip the the already damaged canvas. This business is not communicative. Every time we have the camper go in for service as well the mechanics step all over the camper seats and get dirt all over stuff. It's disgusting!! I have brought this camper in for service 8 times in the 7 weeks that I have had the camper including the service I will be dropping it off for on Tuesday the 29th of August. I have a laundry list of things that have been done to fix our BRAND NEW camper. The solar screen on the wall stopped working. The fill tank light wasn't working properly, The fridge stopped working, the piston on the camper awning needing replacing (renter did this), the awning screws fell out of the camper, ripped awning, the water pump wasn't working properly, the TV mount fell off the wall, the kitchen sink is leaking, and the plastic on the bottom of the murphy bed is falling off. This is my reach out for all the time and money wasted for me coming to the shop. Please help me understand why this is continually happening?! Is this a lemon or are these issues fixable? "This store went out of it's way to make sure I was taken care of! I ordered a part for a Sea Doo Switch online. When it arrived, I didn't realize that an important piece was broken. When I did figure it out, it was way past the time that anyone but myself was really responsible. I don't know how they did it, but J&M took care of me, and replaced the broken part. Kristin in the parts department was outstanding! She's very knowledgeable, and an asset to this store. I would also like to thank the owner or manager that made this decision to help me when they really didn't have to! I really appreciate your kindness and honesty. I wish I could give you 10 stars!"
