"When I discovered that I was pregnant, I decided to return to my home country of Japan to give birth, but since it was my first pregnancy and I was worried about flying, I only had to see a doctor once. Even though it was only once, Dr. Okamura listened to me very kindly and was able to alleviate my various concerns. The examination was very thorough and made me feel at ease. "Do not trust these people! I visited this clinic in January 2017 for an IUD placement. They checked my insurance and said it's covered and I was all set. two and half years later, I received a bill from them and said I owe them $1100 for a visit on May 9th, 2019. I was in a different state that day and never visited them. I called them to clarify and they said it was a mistake. The bill is for the IUD placement from 2 and half years ago. They kept calling me every week after that to ask for the money. Every time when they called, it's different version of story why I should pay them $1,100! And the number kept changing from 980, 1050 to 1100. This is a scam! First, I would never get an IUD, if they did not tell me it was covered by my insurance, second, why would any patient get a bill 2 and half years later after their visit? Third, the clinic billed me for a wrong date of wrong service and found a random visit I have paid long time ago to make up their story. wouldn't it be scary if any clinic can just call you and charge you extra $1100 for a service you have paid 2 and half years ago? They are also very unprofessional and careless, when I visited, they told me to get undressed and waited for the doctor on the treatment table. I asked many times and the said doctor would be right with me. It took so long that I fell asleep on their treatment table. 50 minutes later, she showed up and said sorry for the delay. I still remember because I told myself never visit this place ever again. She gave me options of IUD and I told her I wanted a smaller one with less hormone. She recommended Skyla and gave me some instruction brochures and told me that it expire in 3 years and to make sure to get it removed before then. 2 months ago, I went to a different doctor to get it removed before expiration date. I was told by my new doctor that The IUD I had was Kyleena and it lasts 5 years. I thought it was a mistake bc i still have the Skyla brochures from Kyoko. The new doctor's office called Kyoko and Kyoko's office confirmed it was Kyleena they put in my body. I was so shocked but thought it would be fine as long as my body doesn't have bad reaction so I decided to let it go. But a couple weeks later, Kyoko's office send me this huge bill of $1,100 and claimed it's for the WRONG IUD they put in me and told me was covered by my insurance!! I would not recommend this place even you have no any other clinic to go in Massachusetts! Run!"

She and her staff are also very patient with my two children, who I have to bring to my appointments. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Okamura and her staff!"
