"I give this facility a 1 star review- most receptionists are pleasant to deal with. I give the doctor a 1 star. I have had issues with other DRs in this office in the past, nothing BAD just nothing good either. No one is personal- they say it's nice to meet you even if it's your 4th visit, even when they examine you via pap!!! Dr. Blake was nice coming into the room but it was very cold and sterile, really seemed like he had better things to do. This year has been an extremely hard year for me as a woman and I went in with a couple concerns but I left feeling more discouraged than before I went. There is no personal feeling here, I have had to explain myself and situation multiple times and I probably will have to again as well. I have been trying to find a smaller facility to transfer to but they're almost non existent at this point or not accepting new patients, which is a shame. I wish I didn't have to deal with BIG corps like Umass, Heywood, Healthalliance types but they have created a system where almost all offices have to comply to their standards or are affiliated with them in some way, it's not fair."
"Wife went into labor almost 2 months early. When getting care by Dr Blake in the ER he did not care about anything. 2 days prior to going to the ER It was his office that recommended my wife to not get seen because they said the pain she was feeling was normal and she was overreacting. After telling my wife she needed to be transferred he said that he was glad because now he had a coffee break in the middle of the day. After months of seeing him he did not seem to care about the condition of my wife and everything seemed as if It was a bother to him. Highly do not recommend him or his office."
"As an extremely modest person, finding a gyno with whom I am comfortable is a challenge. Dr. Blake was kind, patient, and reassuring. He took the time to address my concerns and was very helpful. I will definitely return to him for my care in the future despite being an hour away, and I would recommend him to friends and family."
"If I could give a negative score, I would. I am a medical professional myself. I have been a patient of Dr Blake for 12 years, TWELVE YEARS. I called 12 days ago as I had been experiencing extreme heavy bleeding for 9 days at that point, with plus-sized clots. I was white as a ghost, short of breath, and weak. He would not see me for another 20 days, I was told. I should also add, I have cancer. Three days later i went to the emergency room. I was admitted and needed TWO blood transfusions. The hospitalist ordered an OB consult and an MRI. I was happy, as my own doctor, Dr Blake, was on that day. He walked in my room and had no idea who I was. He was arrogant, tilted his head and smirked at me and said the bleeding isnti that abnormal and that it had to run its course, cancelled the MRI, and sent me home. He never examined me, never looked at the bleeding, never even touched my abdomin. He stood at the foot of my bed and never investigated a thing. That night I became extremely sick and went back to the ER. I was admitted again, had the MRI. And was found to have a life threatening infection in my intestines, caused by low platelets and WBC'sfrom the vaginal bleeding! This could have been caught the first day I was there. I ended up spending And additional 4 days hospitalized, recieved more blood, platelets, and several IV antibiotics. I am now home and remain on neutropenic precautions and oral antibiotics and am out of work for who knows how long. Do not go to Dr Blake. I implore you you see someone who cares."
"I was a victim of rape and sexual assult when I was a kid until I was 16, I found out from a different OBGYN that they were damaged and closed but I could get a surgery to open them. I had it done in Nov 7 2015. i got pregnant and made an apt with him bc the obgyn i had moved. It took him almost 2 weeks to give me an apt, Dec 208th 2015 i saw him, because I called freaking out Bc I was bleeding so much and my stomach hurt so bad. I went in that day peed in a cup did a bunch of tests, when he finally came in to see me after being there for 3 hours, he told me I had a miscarriage, and i should have been in sooner to see him so they could monitor me. He then told me i had to have my tubes removed because of how damaged they where. He told me not worry because my insurance would cover any treatments like in vitro bc it was a severe medical problem. He is horrible and he ruined any chance I had of having my own child."
