Welcome to Sandpipers Early Learning Center, a part of the Child & Family organization in Newport, Rhode Island. We are dedicated to providing high-quality early care and education for children ages six weeks through five years. Our program focuses on learning through play, promoting social and cognitive development in a safe and nurturing environment.

Our professional teaching staff is committed to creating engaging learning opportunities for children, emphasizing creativity, problem-solving, and positive self-concept. We work closely with families to support each child's unique needs and growth. Additionally, we offer a Therapeutic component, KIDS CONNECT, to support children with medical, behavioral health, and social/emotional challenges.

At Sandpipers, we understand the needs of Military Families and offer support during transitions such as PCS moves and deployments. We collaborate with organizations like Child Care Aware and Military Child Care in Your Neighborhood to ensure all families have access to quality and affordable child care. Our Family Advisory Board provides a platform for families to offer feedback and suggestions for improving our programs.

Our center is licensed by the State of Rhode Island and accredited through the Council on Accreditation. We are proud to have received a four-star rating from BrightStars, recognizing our commitment to quality above and beyond state licensing standards. Our team of experienced and compassionate teachers undergo yearly professional development to stay current in best practices in early childhood education.
