"Relatives recommended Captain Jack for our purchase of a used center console, so we headed up to Yarmouth Boat Yard from Boston. We were very ably assisted by Parker, who was friendly and highly informative regarding the various features of the many boats in stock. It was cold and rainy, yet Parker was patient and cheerful contending with our many questions. The lovely woman at the front desk even lent me her raincoat! A great business with no high-pressure sales vibe -- they really seem to love boating and their work. Thank you Parker!"

The work was done promptly and they kept me posted along the way. They did the best they could to keep the cost down which was much appreciated. "Last month I purchased from Yarmouth Boat Yard a late model lightly used Cutwater26. The transaction was pleasant but the boat suffered from an overheat issue which was initially mis-diagnosed. Jon and his service team stuck with me until the issue was resolved. Their install of new hardware to fix the problem was done well using quality parts and they maintained good communication throughout. Would recommend!"

Although I did not end up purchasing from them I remained in contact with Eric in the sales dept. and he has continued to be helpful and generously provided a few tickets to the New England Boat Show for my family.
