The individual team members understood and appreciated my husband. They brought a lot of experience with dementia and care to their work. They were uniformly cheerful and upbeat -- which is so important. Align as a small company is very well organized, responsive to scheduling changes/needs, etc. And they handled the relationship with Long Term Care, which was important in our case, removing a real logistical challenge that I would otherwise have had to deal with. Sue was instrumental in selecting and scheduling an array of caregivers to meet our mom’s needs on a 24/7 basis in the beginning, then reducing care as requested as Mom rallied. In the end, we were down to a 4–6-hour schedule in the mornings and that was just fine with Mom. Billing, scheduling, and communication was always straightforward and accessible, as were care notes via the website. Caregiver selection was made on capabilities and personality that matched the need. They assigned a god send helper who has performed both the basic tasks mom needs, she brings love and humor into the home.
