"One staff psychologically abused me via methods such as gaslighting and invading my room. Two staff joked about violating my patient rights, specifically my right to not be experimented on. Based on other reviews, their incompetence is dangerous. This place needs to be shut down. If you want a good hospital try Acadia and St. Mary's. would give 0 stars if I could"

"I wish I could give zero stars. I would be locked in the Quiet Room for days, to the point where I didn't know what time or day it was. I was poorly fed, if at all, and the medications they actively shoved into my throat made me worse. It seems that things haven't changed since my stay 2002, and that's shameful. I still have night terrors of these people shoving me into the quiet room when I desperately needed to know what day or time it was, saying it didn't matter and I needed to stay in my place."

"I have described what was done to me in a previous review. A review on google is not the place for what I have to say about the torturous abuse I have suffered, leading to the wrongful involuntary commitment based on lies, political profiling, and the false accusation and framing of crimes. In my case one of the now many crimes I have been falsely profiled as having committed was actually perpetrated by a psyc-tech named Ryan Ferguson. Ryan Ferguson used to work as a pizza delivery driver for the Portland house of pizza. I also worked there as a driver. About three of the six drivers were very enthusiastic about their recently acquired open carry gun permits and started openly carrying hand guns to work. Ryan Ferguson was the only one to draw his weapon from his holster in the back kitchen of this restaurant and proceeded to show it off as if he was a child doing show and tell in school or a gun salesmen trying to make a sale at a gun show. He then attempted to hand the gun to me while I was folding a stack of pizza boxes. I didn’t accept it. I told him to put it away it is not appropriate to do what he was doing with a firearm at work. He then was very insulted and in his frustration took a step back and aimed the gun at my head. This I will not stand for. I used a pizza box to disarm this terrorist. Ryan Ferguson then ran out of the back door into his little red fiat and sped away. I brought the gun to the general manager named Craig gave it to him and told him to call the police because Fergi was going postal and I don’t know if he is coming back. Craig was sitting in the office that is set up like a security guard station. He had to have seen the entire event on the security camera feeds that were on the screens he was sitting in front of. Craig didn’t call police or do anything. The next day Craig called a quick meeting for the delivery drivers and told the guys with guns to leave them in their cars and never to bring them in the restaurant. After this incident my entire life has been destroyed by what can only be described as a group effort by many different people. Some I knew and many I don’t have any personal connection to at all. A gang a cartel a political group a religious cult of torturers. A year and a half later a family member invited me to stay at their place until I find an apartment. They then lied to Portland police claiming I was suicidal (A lie) police then illegally abducted me not arrested. Forced into Maine Medical Center. Illegally held against my will. Illegally forced to be medicated. They skipped the psych evaluation that all their actions are supposed to be based on. Nurse Emmons who just happens to be the aunt of one of my old high school friends with security guards at her side woke me up one hour before the psychiatrist was going to do a evaluation and illegally involuntarily ordered a psych emergency so she could drug me and transport me to spring harbor hospital. A psych emergency is when a patient is freaking out and becomes a threat to themselves and others. I was asleep, the nurse knew what she was doing was wrong. That is why she had two security guards and a syringe full of a sedative to wake me up in the morning. They illegally drugged me and transported me an hour before the doctor was scheduled to arrive to do an evaluation to determine whether they think hospitalization was necessary. At spring harbor a Dr.Brendan Kirby took the lie that they used to justify involuntary commitment which was a third party claim that I was suicidal and changed it to the lie that I was brought to the hospital because I was threatening friends, family, and coworkers with a gun. The next day Ryan Ferguson walked in and worked as a psych tech. I was not crazy. I was not suicidal. I am not a domestic terrorist. I am not a sex offender. I have been tortured and terrorized by stalkers, terrorists , police, landlords, gangs, nurses, teachers, doctors, firefighters, veterans, secret service agents, Maine DHHS agents, IRS agents, my family and former friends."
