"This place holds a special place in my heart as one of the last true Southie bars. It was my version of Cheers. However, with the passing of Tony, a lot of things have changed. I ordered a shot and was stunned when one shot was a whopping $14. I miss the days of Butter behind the bar and cheap drinks. I’ll cherish the memories but it’s just not the same anymore."

I used to stop by here periodically on my walk home from the T and I once saw two 60+ year old Irish men at the bar call each other out, walk outside, fistfight in the middle of the street, then they both came back in and resumed drinking. This is a true story!"

"Saturday night, MAYBE 10 People there. I REALLY just WISH, & trust me So do MANY other people too, Wish they would get SOME Kind of Entertainment, ANYTHING would be better then NOTHING, EVER!!! REALLY! The only good thing about it, is the drinks are decent prices! & (If your from Southie, mostly), then there is pretty much ALWAYS someone there that you know. Ha, Still NEED SOME entertainment, at least ONCE in a while!!!! Shout out to Buttah the bartender!"
