"Wow! I had a very stressful situation this morning. My windshield wiper broke off on the highway, and I could not see anything while I was driving. They took me right in and fixed everything within 15 minutes. I am now back on the road and thankfully can see now while I’m driving. Thank you so much and thank you for helping me in such a stressful situation. I’ll definitely be coming here for my next car repair."
"Absolutely the best place. I've been coming here for years. I got my family coming here. The service is great, customer facing as well as mechanics. Just the best, especially Louis. He sure knows what he's doing! Highly recommend!!!"
"This shop is so great! They are professional, do excellent work, and give fair and reasonable prices. I have been going to this business for 15+ years, and they have been very consistent. They take care of everything I need: tires, oil changes, fluid changes, inspections, lights, brakes & rotors, etc. In fact they usually remind me when I need new tags. When I had an emergency (random flat tire), they took it same day and patched it up right away, no big deal. I live 20-30 minutes away and still travel to this shop. That's saying a LOT for a Rhode Islander, and there are probably a dozen car shops I pass on the way. But it's worth it to have a dependable shop that I can rely on. You just call a couple of days ahead, drop-off in the morning and pick-up at the end of day. I have never had any sort of issue with them."
"Got my wife's car , mother's car, and my own inspected there . Oil change for my wife's car and mother's car also. I had a problem with my registration. They're were patient with me, and i got my car back there a week later with no problem. Very customer friendly and family oriented. My definite stop for car work and tire purposes."
"Update: I emailed my contact information to the email address reply below, and have not yet heard back over a month later. A third-party mechanic also found that one of the locking nuts was never tightened on one of the suspension components. That business also suspects the wrong parts were used, as they don’t appear to fit the vehicle correctly. —————————————————————- I had intended to write this review in the spring, when this happened, and eventually decided to let it go, but I’m still upset months later. I’ve used D&M for years, on other vehicles, and decided to make them our dedicated shop again for our cars after moving back from out of state. My car needed new struts and strut mounts, which they did, however the car was given to me, supposedly after an alignment, with the wheel cockeyed. I do not hold this against them—things happen, businesses are short-staffed, we’re all human. I get it. The car was brought back a second time for a correction on the alignment, as well as a replacement for one of the struts, as it was clunking and defective. Again, I don’t hold this against them—they have no control in the manufacturing of the part. Where I’m really not pleased is that the car, upon the third delivery, was given back to me with the rear tires cambered so sharply that if I were to drive the car frequently enough, the tires, which were put on in January of last year, would be destroyed. The car was supposed to go back, yet again, for a free motor mount, and at that time, I intended to bring the rear tires up to the attention of the owner, however I lost faith in their ability, as the car had, at this point, been twice returned in an incomplete state. I figured that if the motor mount were replaced, along with the rear tires aligned properly, I wasn’t convinced that it wouldn’t come back, yet again, in an unsatisfactory state. This has left a bad taste in my mouth, especially since I paid four figures to have my car technically less usable than before, it still needs to be corrected, and I’m put in a position to seem like a complainer, something I’m reminded of every time that I pass by their shop on my way home. While good people, and —I’m sure—well intentioned, this has been greatly disappointing and I feel like a fool. Pictures attached for reference."
