"I enjoyed a lovely breakfast with friends this past Sunday. It was my first time here, and I found it to be very warm and inviting. The waitress was very pleasant and stopped by regularly to check on us and refill drinks. My hot chocolate was perfect on a very cold morning, creamy and chocolatey. I ordered the chocolate chip pancakes and a side of homefries. The home fries were great, seasoned well too. The plate of pancakes was huge! Also delicious. Looking forward to another breakfast here or trying out lunch or dinner. Definitely recommend."
"Good cocktails. I ordered an Old Fashioned. Nachos are great here. Bar was a little dirty when I got there, but could have been a bit busy. Try it out. Good decor. Bar tender was very friendly and helpful."
"Dinner, OK. Brunch, Terrible. First visit was for brunch, Bloody Mary was spot on. Requested gin and the bartender was friendly. Even up sold me the chilled shrimp. Shrimp was seasoned & cooked well. Steak & eggs ($22) was atrocious. Ordered soft scrambled and got chopped up over cooked eggs on top of mush home fries lacking any type of flavor. The flank steak is pre cooked medium well. The marinade was nice but served cold on top of hot food. It was the only edible part of the sloppy presented meal. Chicken & Waffles… super juicy breast of chicken fried in old oil leaving it bitter and zero salt after it was fried. I was told on my dinner visit the fryers are changed at the start of the week. Sunday being the end. Caution to ordering fried food on a weekend. Waffles were sweet, maple syrup sweet, honey butter sweet… unbalanced meal. Way too sweet. Fried green tomatoes, Pimento cheese with tomato jam, nice plate. Lacked salt from the fryer. Luna chix sand pretty balanced with the honey garlic sauce and acidity from the pickles. Mango Slaw on its own was boring & bland. French fries were ok. Again- season your fried foods like you learned in culinary school week 1. Louisiana Chicken Pasta was a surprising lovely meal. Could’ve used fresh scallions for garnish and a pop of fresh flavor. Seasoned well. Creme brûlée… simply put, gross. Trying too hard to be gastro pub. Keep it simply and use various flavored sugars on top instead."
"Great food, great service! We’ve been here many times to work our way through the menu. So far everything we have tried has tasted super fresh, made to order and delivered quickly. The staff here is super friendly and attentive."
"Why did I wait so long to try this place? My wife, who passes by it for work, consistently recommended it, and on our anniversary, we finally gave in—and what an experience it was! We began with delectable steamed clams bathed in garlic butter. I opted for "The Rexford", an indulgent Kobe beef burger crowned with a lobster tail. While the bacon marmalade was a tad sweet for my palette, a simple scrape made the burger perfection. I paired it with a finely chopped salad, opting out of fries, and wasn't disappointed. My wife's steak Caesar salad earned her praise as well. The dining experience was elevated by our attentive server, Noah. His impeccable timing meant our drinks were always full, our needs met swiftly, and any request we had was addressed almost immediately. The smooth service was punctuated by a thoughtful visit from the manager, showcasing their commitment to customer satisfaction. The Flats is a testament to culinary and service excellence, a perfect fit for Clifton Park. I genuinely hope they continue to thrive, and I eagerly anticipate our next visit. A stellar A+++!"
