"This is a unique & pleasant restaurant that has lots of delicious food to offer. My girlfriend and I came here for a late breakfast/early lunch & we ordered the breakfast burritos, the sugar crape, fries & a milkshake. The food was really outstanding although I would have love if it was a bit hotter. I enjoy my food really hot and this was just a little under temp for my personal liking, but it was definitely fresh and packed with flavor. The atmosphere of this restaurant is nice. Although I do not enjoy the modern idea of the self service & order on a QR code. This really takes away from the experience of dining in the restaurant. Overall I am giving a 4/5 it was very tasty and filling, price was fair but food could’ve better hotter & I didn’t enjoy having to make my own coffee and keep getting up myself for water refills. Thank you staff & owners."
"The food here sure hits the spot the morning after a show. Food quality was fresh and tasted great. Being able to order the food from your phone is also a big W."
"Stopped by for dinner after traveling to Albany. Didn't really check out the menu before stopping in, but there's plenty of options. Minimal interaction with ordering and service, which is something I appreciate. Ordered a crepe - it was okay and the beet/carrot hashbrowns (was stoked to try them) - they were a little bit gross. The experience was fine, but I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to go again."
"Always stopped by their stand at the Washington Park Farmers Market and so I went in for the first time at their actual store. Brunch was busy but didn't take long to sit us. Ordering system was super easy to use on our phones. Blueberry frumple was delicious and not overly sweet, paired with a sweet cold cider really completed the brunch."
"On the corner of Pearl St and the small side street Steuben, The Skinny Pancake is a regional chain (first one was in Burlington, VT) that serves fun breakfast fare in a casual environment...think Ben & Jerry's for breakfast. As there are a lot of windows, the sun shines brightly and would be especially warming on a cold winters day. Additionally, you can order at the counter or from your table using their QR code system...very good as it even lets you split bills and meal ordering for different persons at the table. As you'd expect from the name, most menu options are based on either sweet or savory crepes...but also included some baked goods and even a breakfast burrito. For our meal we had the Hot Apple Crumble Crepe (very good...but sweet especially with the ice cream), Breakfast Sammy Sandwich (very tasty) and shared a Blueberry Frumple Cake (very good...nice side dish). Service was very friendly and pleasant...so no complaints there. Just a fun place to spend a more casual breakfast with a group of friends. Enjoy!"
