"Extremely disappointed with my experience with Mike at Drinan Properties. Our family rented a home through Mike in Scarborough. Things that were in our contract which were supposed to be fixed, never got fixed. To add insult to injury, when it was time to move out, the homeowner together with Drinan properties tried to claim money for stuff that was already broken when we moved in. Not only did they refuse to return our deposit, they tried to claim that we owed them $2,000+ . I believe it was an attempt to scare us in leaving our deposit. Unfortunately for them, I'm extremely stubborn and will be taking them to court. Stay away from this company if you can! Just read the reviews."

"Mike Drinan was my landlord for nearly 5 years. The property was always very well maintained. During winter, the property was always well plowed. Mike was always very responsive to my calls or emails if I needed anything. Very pleasant and very professional to work with. "Renting through Drinan Properties was one of the best experiences I had as a renter. I initially moved to Maine from out of state for a new job and was unable to look at rentals in person. As such, I focused on property management companies to make sure I got a good unit without the risk of scams. Mike Drinan took the time to put me and my wife in a great condo just off the Peninsula from Portland. I had been nervous renting site unseen, but the unit was exactly as expected come move in day. "I worked with Mike Drinan for 2 years as the property manager of my apartment and had a great experience. He is very nice, quick to respond, and very understanding. For example, once early on in my rental agreement, my key broke in the lock at around 11 PM, and Mike himself came over and drilled through the lock immediately, and then came back to fix it the next day. I had another instance of extreme noise violations by way of nighttime construction work happening within the apartment complex, and Drinan Properties did a great job handling it within 24 hours. Drinan Properties was very attentive, timely, and understanding to all issues concerning the apartment. I have referred Drinan Properties to other people looking for a new rental property and certainly would again!"
