"The community acupuncture clinic is fantastic and deserve 5 stars in their own merits. However, I've been a patient at this doctors office as well on and off for the last 5 years. The various nurses have all been very alouf and frankly ineffective, but that's what you get with holistic medicine. It's not a silver bullet. Most recently I came in with flu symptoms and was told there was nothing this nurse could do for me via "CDC guidelines" and an adverse relationship with antibiotics. While it makes me so furious that I can't get a zpac when I need one most I do understand the situation we're in because we've abused these medications and our bodies with unnecessary perceptions. Are nurses & doctors are seeing too many patients and aren't connected into our needs? Are they starved for money? Being told to go to urgent care and foot the bill because your doctor doesn't offer tele-visits is inexcusable in this day in age. While this is not the only nurse to suggest urgent care -- or rather not offer televisits and accurate referrals -- its a negative and outdated practice to see a patient knowing you'll only to send them somewhere else. While I pride myself on wellness as a yoga teacher I will be looking to return here for community acupuncture treatments primarily. Seems they need more resources internally for the nurse practitioners to be more empowered for their clients."
