"My experience started out fine but it has gradually turned worse - an exorbitant rent increase after only a year coupled with bad maintenance (an ongoing issue with heat where it just turns off randomly and comes back temporarily when I make a complaint. It's happened thrice now this winter and it's not been resolved)."
"My review is based on my experience living there until the end of 2021. This place was our home for nine years and is situated in a fantastic location with a wide range of amenities nearby. Even during blizzards, having Market Basket within walking distance was convenient. Walmart, Target, and Home Depot were just a few minutes away, and Wentworth Douglas Hospital was only a few miles away. The property consists of nine buildings, each containing 30 apartments of various sizes, including one and two bedrooms. However, the rent is relatively high for the location and the facilities they offer. They used to have an older gym, a tennis court, and a small playground for kids. I heard they were building a new gym a couple of years ago. There's also a small party hall in the basement of one of the buildings, suitable for small functions. They only offer yearly leases. The washers and dryers are outdated and often out of order, and maintenance response times were somewhat slow but acceptable. They enforce a strict pet policy, not even allowing small fish tanks. Overall, our stay was good, but the rent consistently increased without any improvements to the amenities provided."
"the location was good, walking distance to necessity’s store. our unit was in 929, in the corner the view was beautiful the open floor plan was nice but furniture is very outdated and cheap looking. thank god the electronics never had any problems. pool is decent, but only open 3 months during the summer Larry was very helpful for our move in process, too bad he’s no longer there. fyi tara meadows you lost a huge asset. their maintanance is fast response but doesnt really fix the issue to the core they fast response to the snow, the plowing is always on time. here comes the downfall wall is very thin u can hear almost anything. the hallway stiiink. the dumpster is always nasty with small junk around it. try to see thomas dumpster and it heaven and earth. super clean. parking is always full, they limit 2 vehicle per unit but actually i never see them check. how i know? since im so desperate how full it is and my unit across thomas with large empty parking i always park there. never been any issue for not being thomas residence people keep complaining about package gone missing. but honestly lucky me thats not my case. i suffered eczema 2 weeks since i moved in and magically cured 2 weeks since i moved out? coinsidence? there is mold issue in the pipe system. the mold is even coming out of the shower head. it gave my husband fungal rash and need to be treated in the hospital. also during the spring omg. the mold keep spreading to my shower curtain, even shower puff. its crazy still talking about mold, during the rainy season there is leaking on the roof, which they fix by repaint but i never know if they ever use proffesional mold cleaner to do the job. cause wet ceiling probably invested by mold. i dont have bed so we put matress on the floor near by the heather, one day i woke up at night with little roach on my forehead. creepy i know. price is high but it’s new england what can you expect? but tbh tara meadow pricing is cheaper than other apt in the area considering it include gas (heat stove and oven). we were considering move but still dont know when, so we think just to rent month to month considering our rent just up 200 and without contract only added 50/month ( we asked 3 month before our contract ended ) and one month before our contract ended we confirm it, they gain the month to month added fee from 50 to 500 dollars! not included the rent or the rent increase price. what? so we have to pay 2100 for 2 bedroowm apt build in the 80’s with outdated furniture? thats it we sign offf"
"Being a newcomer to a country presents numerous challenges, the most difficult of which is locating an apartment. I am glad for the opportunity to get a place in Tara Meadows. First off, the management is very supportive. I really appreciate Kate Nesman and Mary Beth. Throughout the onboarding, she has provided a lot of support and all the information required. She even went out of her way to offer support to set up the place with possible leads in different stores. The apartment I received was cleaned properly, whitewashed, and with a new carpet. So far, I have seen the ground staff is good, maintenance happens regularly for lawns, pool area, laundry areas, and garbage collection, etc. Thanks for all the support!"
