I've attended birth workshops, restorative yoga/acupuncture classes, and started doing pelvic floor physical therapy both pre and postnatally which has been an absolute game changer and really helped me prepare and recover so much better for the birth of my second. "The entire staff was extremely knowledgeable, professional and put my mind at ease. Dr. Paige listened to everything I said as I expressed my concerns. She explained things clearly and made sense of the issues that I was having. She had a plan at each appointment with exercises, breath work and/or stretches, as well as things I could do between visits. I felt better after my first visit and my issue was resolved. I highly recommend Root to Rise. I learned a few things that will continue to be beneficial and I’m thankful I was referred to them."
"I highly recommend the “Stage Two of Labor: Pushing and the Pelvic Floor” class for all pregnant mommas! I recently had my first baby and I felt more empowered when things weren’t progressing during pushing to suggest different positions because I understood the anatomy/progression of birth better. I did have an epidural so movement was more limited, but was still able to work with the nurses and try things that worked better for my body, which I believe has led me to an easier recovery postpartum. I also worked with Root to Rise during my pregnancy and will continue to work with them postpartum as well - they have made me feel supported every step of the way!"
