We recently built a house and worked with Annie to customize the base floorplan we'd purchased, design the kitchen and other spaces, and select a variety of finishes and features. We unfortunately were working with a very challenging builder who made it difficult for Annie to do the full scope of services she'd typically provide for a new build, but she was an incredibly flexible and supportive partner to us throughout the project nonetheless. "We worked with Annie in November 2019 through January 2020. We were about to buy a house after months of frustrating house hunting, but weren't sure about a couple of features. In no time at all, Annie shared a compelling vision as well as a high level estimate so that we were confident extending an offer. Once we bought the house, Annie quickly created a renovation plan. She listened carefully to our likes and dislikes, not an easy feat since we frequently don't agree with each other. Her design skills are exquisite. We loved the items she found for us while still being cautious of our budget. We wanted significant renovations to the kitchen and master bath, a new gas fireplace and surround in the living room and numerous other projects around the house. We were living our of state, and Annie's keen eye and network of experienced tradespeople were of tremendous value in designing custom solutions that leveraged the quality that already existed. She was an incredible project manager, keeping seven independent contractors coordinated and on track while she found an ordered lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures, tile, granite, hardware, and pieces of furniture that would work, including designing a custom-made kitchen table for a space that was hard to fit. Annie was wonderful to work with. She's kind, fun, a great problem solver and a good listener. We couldn't be happier with our new home and our new friend."
