"So this is an update, I have asked Lee from Rent a Center to never have Bruce call me considering the circumstances. And just like clock work, I received a call direct from Bruce because of the fact I took off my direct deposit. I've never been a week late, I've never even missed a payment. Yeah Bruce, thanks for your reminder. Stop calling my phone please. Lee assured me this would not happen and it continues to happen. Honestly, this is my last time doing this. I feel like I borrowed money from a Mafia Thug and if I don't have it they will break my legs. This is where I find myself torn. I appreciate Lee as a manager, but I'm still getting calls even though I've never missed a payment. How is it possible to want to give back a couch your family sits on because I'm literally being harassed?? I'm sorry for the negative response Lee and for everyone reading this. I just don't understand how RentaCenter can hire a person who is about to lose them business... Please, do not call my phone unless absolutely necessary, ME being a day behind does not constitute NECESSARY!! I will be forwarding this to Corporate! Sincerely, Not Impressed!"

"If I could post a 0 I would. Went in on a Monday, 3 weeks ago, ask for a dryer. Sales man didn’t even know the dryer on the sales floor was a dryer. Once he realized it he offered to bring it to me on at Friday. Received a call that it wouldn’t be delivered till Monday. I was ok with that. Dryer was delivered on Monday and it didn’t work. The to gentlemen that brought it in never turned it on to see that it work. Dropped it and left. When I attempted to dry my close 20 minutes after they left there was no heat in the brand new dryer. I called immediately, same day, promising me I would have one to replace it on Monday. Monday I get a call that they have no dryers and they have no idea when they are getting it in. When they came to pick up my dryer they told me that I would know Tuesday the following day when they would have one to be delivered. It has been a week and half. No word. They still have my money. When I called them this morning 9 days after they took the dryer. Oh we were told you did want one. The salesman never called and asked. Never followed. Never will I do business with rent a center. They don’t know what customer services for the price you pay for the product and they tend to keep your money for no business or service. Horrible company. Asked for the district managers number they gave me a disconnected one when I called back they refused to give me another one. Never use St. John St Portland Maine."
